Unity is Strength

From Belgium, François MAHU realized this bench.

"Unity is strength" is a triple bench representing 3 regions and 3 speech communities which form Belgium. By its construction, the three benches depend on each other and none can exist alone. But by their union, they are structurally strengthened. This metaphor can apply also in Europe which has sense only if member countries are ready
to depend from each other, then only Europe can be stronger than the sum of the countries which composes it.
François Mahu is an alive Belgian industrial designer in Barcelona. His work concerns mainly products and sustainable objects and using the renewable energies. This approach aims at creating objects for the current life which give responsibilities and educate without commanding and managing."
